BMW 3 Series hybrid introduced in 2012
BMW was founded in the 90th anniversary of the annual general meeting, BMW CEO Reithofer said that following the introduction of hybrid in 2011 after the 5 Series, 3 Series hybrid will be launched in 2012 also.
Reithofer said the BMW 3 Series cars in the senior market sales have been fairly stable, while the addition of hybrid vehicles will benefit from the 3 series and more competitive pricing, and maturity in the case ActiveHybrid technology , if the scheduled debut next year, 5 hybrid type, that type 3 Series hybrid time to market will advance, because the same power system will rapidly apply the 3 Series models.
However, the 3 Series hybrid model launched in 2012 the earliest, because the car will use a new platform, its most direct competitor is the Lexus HS 250h.
